Please read the following rental conditions carefully before booking your vehicle with SILVERCAR.
The minimum rental period is 24 hours.
Vehicle rental is possible with a valid driving license. The renter receives the vehicle in proper working condition and agrees to use it in accordance with applicable laws and these rental terms.
The minimum age for drivers is 21 years, with at least one year of driving experience.
All rental prices are stated in euros and include VAT at a rate of 21%.
You can reserve a vehicle:
Vehicles can be picked up and returned at the airport, in the city, or at another pre-agreed location. One-way rentals (pickup in one city and return in another) are possible with prior notice and an additional fee.
For airport reservations, the renter is required to provide the flight number. Our staff will meet you at the airport exit holding a sign with your name and will escort you to the parking area.
We accept cash, debit cards, and credit cards. Payment is made upon vehicle pickup unless otherwise agreed.
The deposit ranges from 100€ to 200€, depending on the vehicle category. The deposit is taken in cash and returned in cash to the customer. If the renter selects Full Coverage insurance, no deposit is required.
All vehicles include basic TPL (Third Party Liability) insurance. Additional insurance options:
The vehicle is delivered and returned with the same fuel level (full-to-full policy).
An additional driver can be added with a valid driving license. The fee for an additional driver is 10€ for the entire rental period.
Cross-border travel is allowed with prior notice and an additional fee, along with the required documentation.
Reservations can be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before vehicle pickup.
The renter is responsible for traffic violations, fines, improper use of the vehicle, and loss of keys or documentation. The vehicle must not be used for racing, off-road driving, or commercial purposes without prior approval.
In case of a traffic accident, the renter is required to obtain a police report. Without an official police report, insurance coverage may be invalid.
Insurance does not cover damage caused on off-road terrain, nor damage resulting from improper or negligent use of the vehicle.
If the renter decides to return the vehicle before the end of the agreed rental period, the vehicle may be returned, but no refund will be issued.
All traffic and parking fines incurred during the rental period are the sole responsibility of the renter, i.e. the person named in the rental agreement.
